Cafe Manager / Experienced Baker

Cafe' Attendant - Cafe' Baker

HOURS: 4am-12pm

DESCRIPTION:
Represent Jim Click and Holmes Tuttle Ford Lincoln in a friendly and professional manner while greeting and providing exceptional service to customers. Demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and customer service. Perform daily food preparation. Provide coverage for daily food and beverage sales Perform daily cleaning tasks. Demonstrate proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Provide coverage for part-time staff during designated break times. Update daily food waste and inventory sheets as needed. Demonstrate a complete understanding of caf opening and closing procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

1. Provide quality customer service and assistance.
2. Providing free samples.
3. Maintain coffee bar: keeping up with demand, keeping area clean.
4. Weighing out coffee.
5. Responsible for the cleanliness of the lobby, keeping the lobby free of clutter: pushing chairs in, keeping tables sanitized.
6. Serving drinks, sandwiches and salads in a friendly and efficient manner.
7. Working cash register.
8. Prepping sandwich bar for lunch.
9. Washing and putting away dishes.

LUNCH PREPARATION DUTIES:

1. Preparation of all ingredients for salads (tuna, chicken lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers).
2. Slicing and weighing all sandwich ingredients.
3. Prepare freeze base, strawberry base drinks and chocolate milk.
4. Cleaning espresso machine.
5. Restocking entire store.
6. Maintaining the store in a clean and orderly fashion.

CLOSING CAFE:

1. End of Day Paperwork.
2. Cash Management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND ABILITIES:

1. Math and English reading and speaking skills sufficient to perform job duties.
2. Consistent, regular, and timely attendance as scheduled.
3. Record information (taken by phone or in person) accurately.
4. Recall and/or follow oral directions accurately.
5. Converse personably and cordially with a diverse population.
6. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without forgetting assignments and/or priorities.
7. Ability to work in consistently demanding situations, with most tasks considered urgent while maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor at all times.
8. Experience in a Food Service environment a plus.
