Our client is currently seeking Caregivers and/or Residential Aides to provide care to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is an Independent Contractor role and is a client temp to perm negotiable opportunity.
HOURLY RATE & AVAILABLE HOURS
* Earn $2,200/month depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
* Shifts: 2nd and Weekends
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide companionship, compassion, and emotional support to residents. Ensure all activities are designed and implemented with a goal of individual growth; and all care and services are delivered in a climate of care and concern
* Assist residents with activities of daily living including cooking, bathing, dressing, and light housekeeping
* Transport individuals to appointments (as needed)
* Monitor residents abilities and performance and make suggestions to care plans
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable caregiving or direct care experience i.e, supporting the personal care of adults i.e., bathing, dressing, and meal preparations or enriching the lives of persons with Intellectual Developmental Disorders (IDD)
Ability to complete and pass a 10 panel drug screen
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Valid Driver's License (on file for 3 years or longer) and reliable vehicle
* Caregivers/Residential Aides)/Home Health Aide (HHA) are encouraged to register.
