JOB SUMMARY
Review and process technical documents and combination applications for the Assessors Office, scan documents, update database, and review ownership and parcel history under general supervision. Example of Duties
Work in this classification requires an individual to be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. TYPICAL CLASSIFICATION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Review and process technical documents describing property, boundaries, attributes, and ownership.
- Assist Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Cartography Specialists in researching and analyzing legal descriptions of real property.
- Update and maintain Taxing Authority information and documents.
- Scan and file documents and update database.
- Perform document scanning, processing, quality review, support services and create and update GIS database.
- Perform the basic technical duties of implementing parcel splits, combinations, and legal acreage changes using Geographic Information System (GIS) software and other specialized application software.
- Research and track chain of title of real property.
- Promote and adhere to the workplace values of accountability, commitment, and teamwork to help enrich lives beyond expectation.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records, and restricted County information.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of customer service and computer experience.
- Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum requirements.
- One (1) year of GIS or cadastral mapping experience or equivalent educational credits.
- Valid Arizona Drivers License within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic office equipment, techniques, and quality standards.
- Knowledge of basic record keeping practices.
- Skill in operating computer systems and basic software applications and learning new software applications.
- Basic writing skills including grammar, punctuation, and typing.
- Ability to provide effective customer service and deal tactfully and courteously with the public.
The work is sedentary requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The work also requires the ability to finger, grasp, handle, perform repetitive motion, hear, speak, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.

The hiring salary for this position is dependent upon experience, qualifications and position funding; starting salaries above the first quartile require additional approval.
