SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide clinical knowledge regarding mental health disorders through training and education.
* Support the Director/Manager in effective program by implementing clinical services, best practice models of care and daily functions as required by contractual and regulatory bodies.
* Plan and provide individual, age appropriate recreational activities for program clients, as well as development of enrichment opportunities, outside of educational hours, on weekdays, weekends.
* Carry out all phases of clinical services, including intake, engagement, assessment, treatment planning, continued services, transitioning and discharge processes.
* Provide competent Recovery oriented clinical case-management services by the demonstration of: intervention and support, inclusion of family/friends/community, dignity and care, supportive counseling and medication administration where applicable.
* Provide support through a therapeutic group home service model for individuals needs such as: daily living skills, basic care skills, loss and abandonment issues, educational support, communication skills, basic care skills, pursuit of personal interests, spirituality, relationships and finance management where applicable.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field, including two (2) years of experience in mental health with DDS agency experience.
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to complete and satisfactorily complete given background checks
