Case Manager - Henderson

 The Salvation Army Henderson Corps is looking to fill a vacant Case Manger position. The successful candidate for this position will excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills, both verbal and written. This position is benefit eligible and comes with vacation, sick, health, vision, life insurance, and more.

The Case Manager will conduct multi-level assessment, develop an intervention plan and provide an array of needed services. This position will coordinate with the Clean the World Homeless Shower program and other such programs such as EFSP, rental assistance, and utility assistance. The Case Manager will also assist with the Food Pantry including but not limited to preparation and distribution of packages to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related discipline. A Minimum four years of related employment experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
• Must have excellent knowledge of computers and all Microsoft Office Suite software applications.
• Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment and professionalism
• Must have excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as typing letters and composing emails
• Ability to follow directions without supervision
• Ability to complete documentation accurately in a timely manner, possess time management skills and be able to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent detail, organization and file management skills
• Ability to work in a team setting with other professionals
• An understanding, respect, and acceptance of the philosophy of The Salvation Army
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
