Centrifugal Pump Mechanic

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Centrifugal Pump Mechanic
• Location: Southeast Houston
• Pay: $38-$40/hr.
• Hours: 6am-2:30pm with flexibility to work OT
• Duration: temp-to-hire
• Description of Duties: Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on centrifugal pumps and related equipment; Disassemble, inspect and diagnose mechanical issues; Conduct precision alignments, including shaft and coupling alignments; Reassemble and test pumps; Maintain documentation of all inspections, repairs, and testing
• Requirements: 3+ years experience troubleshooting / repairing centrifugal pumps; Ability to read and interpret blueprints & drawings; Strong knowledge of API 610 & 617 standards; Experience with precision measurement tools and laser alignment systems.
