Job Summary: This job is responsible for managing the care of essentially healthy women and co-managing with a physician, the care of those clients who develop problems that put them at a greater risk. Trained to assist women during childbirth, antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care. Delivers babies and assists physicians in procedures such as C-sections. Performs gynecological exams, prenatal care and education to patients.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Two years recent nursing experience.
  • Spanish speaking, preferred
  • Masters degree in Certified Nurse Midwifery ( ACNM accredited midwifery program required)
  • Current state RN license for applicable state of employment
  • NRP certification; Evidence of current fetal monitoring education required
  • BLS: American Heart Association required

Physical Requirements;

Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
