Job Description
Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Womens and Childrens Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.
Today, ORMC offers a wide spectrum of healthcare services, including advanced diagnostic imaging technology, emergency care, innovative surgical procedures, maternity care, comprehensive cardiac services, and general medical care
About the Position:
The Certified Nursing Asst will provide indirect patient care. The CNA will be required to meet the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff, and medical staff. They will be required to prepare and compile records in the Medical-Surgical Unit or Telemetry Unit. The PCT is also required to Initiate directions from physicians and nursing staff and participate in performance improvement activities. This position provides services to age range from adolescent to geriatric. Other duties as assigned.
Regulatory Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program.
- Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document.
- Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience preferred.
