THE IMPACT YOULL MAKE

The Change Lead plays a key role in ensuring projects and change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing team member adoption and usage. This role focuses on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The Change Lead drives increases benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes for key projects across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities across multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Assess change impacts thoroughly; conduct impactful change management assessments and stakeholder analyses
  • Create change management strategies; identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance; develop coaching plans and roadmaps to build manager capability in leading change for their team members
  • Consult and coach project teams, including executive sponsors
  • Develop and deliver actionable deliverables for the change management levers, including: communications plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans
  • Build organizational change capability by coordinating and delivering robust change management training that is tailored to all key stakeholder groups across MORSCO
  • Support communication, engagement, and training, including development and execution

KEY CAPABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; robust experience with an established change management framework, principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci ADKAR Model)
  • Excellent active listening skills with a keen ability to read between the lines to diagnose and address root cause of resistance to change
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, including a demonstrated ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Capable of translating sophisticated technical subject matter into easy-to-understand communications, particularly for non-technical partners
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across all levels of stakeholders, including front line team members and executives
  • High levels of empathy; ability to obtain stakeholder buy-in by balancing logic and emotion
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple ongoing projects without impact target completion date; highly organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and to pivot as needed
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues, challenges, and downstream impacts
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Skilled with project management with strong understanding of various phases of the project lifecycle, key approaches, and tools

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in organizational change management program design and implementation
  • 5+ years of experience in project management and resource management
  • Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders in written and oral communications
  • Willingness to travel as required per project (~15%)
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prosci Certification
  • Masters Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field
  • Change management consulting experience
