Job Description:
Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director, the Chaplain provides spiritual care to meet the needs of patients, family/significant others, volunteers and staff members. S/he works as part of the interdisciplinary care team coordinating spiritual care with the clinical team, volunteer chaplains and local clergy; documenting patient visits appropriately documenting patient visits; responding to calls throughout the working day and serving as on-call chaplain as needed on weekends, holidays and evenings. The Chaplain functions as a core member of the IDG team. S/he recruits, trains, and supervises volunteer chaplains.
Experience
Demonstrated experience in pastoral and spiritual counseling with current recognition and good standing in spiritual community. Spanish speaking preferred.
Education
Masters of Divinity or like degree. Clinical Pastoral Education preferred.
Licensure/Certifications
Must possess a valid California drivers license.

Assigned Work Hours:
Primarily 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday.
