Job Title: Chargeback Analyst
SUMMARY: Responsible for investigating disputed credit and/or debit card transactions and then taking suitable action to resolve those disputes, including processing refunds and/or debits to cardholders or merchants or writing off transactions. The work involves researching credit and/or debit card transactions to determine if purchases actually occurred.

The work involves researching credit and/or debit card transactions to determine if purchases actually occurred.
JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:
- Investigate disputed credit and/or debit card transactions.
- Take suitable action to resolve disputes, including processing refunds and/or debits to cardholders or merchants.
- Writing off transactions.
- Communicate findings to consumers and merchants.
- Be on the lookout for fraud, reporting any and all suspected cases to the Risk Department.
- From time to time, may have to work weekends and holidays due to the nature of the business.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience researching credit and/or debit card transactions to determine if purchases actually occurred.
- Experience working for a credit card company or merchants that issue their own credit cards.
- Familiarity with chargeback rules and regulations.
