Pay Range

$36. 04 - $49. 47/Hr.

While the majority of Managed Care Net Revenue for Centura Health will continue to flow through traditional managedcare payer sources, Centura Health has established a direct-to-employer strategy so as to 1) orient employers andconsumers to Centura Health's network of providers, 2) secure direct relationships with employer purchasers leading totighter involvement in their health care decisions, 3) establish a means to manage population health, and 4) capture volume and market share. This initiative supports Centura Health's objective to be consumer facing and provide health care services directly to the consumer.

Centura Health's Employer Solutions (CHES) offers employers a Centura-sponsored, directly-contracted integrated network through all Centura facilities, CHPG and CHN. Centura will collaborate with employer partners and their third-party administrators and brokers to help manage employee health and cost trend through customized solutions based onemployer needs.

Reporting to the Director of Managed Care and Payor Relations Contracting in the Centura Health Managed Care and Payor Relations team, this position is accountable for all business development and implementation activities for the Centura Health Employer Solutions (CHES) strategy. This will include leading, managing and directing strategic growth activities, developing relationships with employers, managing and coordinating internal support functions and performing client relationship management functions.

This position is accountable to monitor external market dynamics to help balance Centura Health's strategic marketapproach and to identify opportunities to expanding current market share. This position is responsible to facilitate and lead multi-disciplinary teams to implement business solutions and to facilitate strategy development and decision-making through quantifying opportunity and risk assessment.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years in business development and sales with a proven track record in business development, sales and accountmanagement, required (5-7 years, preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and managerial abilities
  • Strong aptitude and proven experience in working with all levels of management
  • Excellent knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance products and benefit design
  • Bachelor's Degree, required
  • Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business, or related field, preferred
