JOB TITLE:
Child Nutrition Student Worker

JOB GOAL:
To assist in the daily process of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be a current high school student.
2. Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students
3. Must be able to read, write and speak English
4. Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules
5. For those 18+: must pass fingerprint and background clearance.
6. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25 30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
7. Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.
8. Food Handlers Card.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 180 days (9 Months); Part-time
COMPENSATION: Minimum Wage
BENEFITS: As per District policy
REPORTS TO: Department supervisor
HOURS: 2.5-5 hours per week depending on schedule
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

1. Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
2. Learn all essential skills within a reasonable time span.
3. Assists with stocking and replenishing of supplies.
4. Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
