Christmas Angel Tree Worker

LOCATION: Phoenix South Moutain Kroc Center

STATUS: FT Temp 40 hours/wk – Flex (Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm with additional nights and weekends)

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Phoenix, AZ is looking to fill a Christmas Angel Tree Worker position. The successful candidate for this position will be detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills, good verbal and interpersonal skills.

The Christmas Angel Tree Worker will Create, order, monitor, assure accuracy and completeness of Angel Tree forms. They will greet the public with kindness and professionalism and wrap presents dropped off from the public. This employee will work with Volunteer Specialists to gets tags written and distributed to mall locations. This person will process donations correctly and secure them in the mall storage area and coordinate assignments for staff and volunteers for distribution to ensure all functions are covered.

• Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to wrap Christmas presents well
• Must deal effectively in emotionally stressful situations with a variety of ethnic and personality types.      
• Must be able to work well with peers, the community and volunteers.             
• Bilingual Preferred (Spanish/English).          
• Must be self directed and work with little supervision.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
