CVS Health is looking for experienced Claims Intake Processors to join our fast-paced Claims Department. As a Claims Intake Processor, you will be responsible for preparing and scanning in paper claims into the production environment. Commercial Paper Claims processes an average of 74,000 claims monthly and provides service to multiple employer and health plans.
Primary Responsibilities of the Claims Processor include:
* Sorting interoffice and regular mail by department.
* Opening and extracting, copying, taping down the items within the envelope.
* Scanning in the mail in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
* Printing letters and stuffing envelopes.
* Operate mailroom equipment, including but not limited to:
o Mail slicing machine,
o Scanners,
o Printers,
o Envelope openers
* Maintaining integrity of claims receipts in accordance with standard claims operating and adjudication procedures.
* Working within turnaround times to meet client performance guarantees for claims processing.
* Meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 17.00
Maximum: 27.16
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
1+ year of experience Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software
* Understand modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
* Ability to pay very close attention to detail
* Possess the ability to work as a team member, but also independently at times with limited direction
* Successful at working in a fast-paced environment
* Maintain flexibility and/or the ability to work overtime as needed to meet timelines
* Must be able to lift 20 - 35 pounds.
* Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, and walk.
