Provide Tier III technical support for servers, storage, networks, and endpoint devices across the District's campuses and administrative offices.

Configure and manage server infrastructure, including Active Directory, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and storage systems.

Deploy, maintain, and monitor cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace).

Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including server hardening, access controls, and vulnerability management.

Develop and maintain backup strategies, ensuring data integrity and availability through regular testing and validation.

Configure and manage group policies, network directory structures, and user access permissions.

Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Monitor system performance and network activity, utilizing monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Provide support for disaster recovery and incident response planning, including testing and documentation updates.

Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and security compliance.

Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software acquisitions, warranties, and technical support.

Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and workflows using IT documentation tools or wikis.

Assist in technology planning and budgeting by evaluating emerging technologies and providing recommendations.

Offer mentorship and on-the-job training for technical support staff, fostering skill development across the team.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking of all district-owned technology assets through inventory management systems.

Provide technical assistance for district-wide online assessments, ensuring stable and functional testing environments.

Respond to and resolve escalated service tickets efficiently, prioritizing workload to minimize downtime.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, and community members, promoting a collaborative work environment.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards regarding sensitive information involving students, staff, and the district.

Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices to ensure systems remain robust, secure, and scalable.

Represents, consistently, the District in a positive and professional manner

Education / Certificate 1. Must possess an Associates Degree in computer technology or equivalent expertise 2. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience 1. Must have background and experience with project management 2. Must be comfortable training and leading professional development for District staff Communication Skills Computer Skills 1.
