The Clinical Data Analyst supports the operations of the fraud, waste, and abuse program for PBM clients with Federal and/or State government employees. The Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for all departmental contractual and non-contractual reporting.
Responsibilities include utilizing multiple systems to mine large amounts of data, ensure the integrity of the data, identify trends and make proactive recommendations to both internal and external customers in a timely fashion. The Clinical Data Analyst tracks all network pharmacy terminations and manages the member notification lettering process.
The Clinical Data Analyst interacts and collaborates with multiple contacts within the QPS department, IT organization, clinical programs and directly with the client.
The analyst will use advanced analytical programming skills to provide insights and recommendations on the clinical effectiveness of the program and projects.
Required Qualifications
1. Two years + experience with data analytics, preferably in healthcare.
2. One year + experience using analytical tools (SAS, SQL, Python, R, etc.) for measuring Business Performance.
3. One year + experience with MS Office products.
4. Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: SAS, SQL, R, Python, etc.
5. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
6. Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point, Access and data warehouse applications
7. Ability to maintain attention to detail, accuracy, and product quality data sets in timely fashion.
8. Willing to work both independently and with internal/external partners
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills
10. Must be able to communicate in a professional demeanor and maintain high confidentiality standards

Preferred Qualifications
Must have experience using SQL or SAS.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other visual application tools.
Experience using data analytics in fraud, waste, and abuse research.
Education
Bachelors Degree
Masters preferred.
