Scenic Mountain Medical Center is a community health care provider serving patients in Howard County. An acute care hospital with 146 licensed beds, Scenic Mountain is Joint Commission accredited. Our specialized services include cardiology, orthopedics, maternity, diagnostic imaging, emergency care with a 24/7 level IV Trauma Center, wound care, and women's health and breast care services.
About the Shift:

About the Position:
Plans and delivers nutritional care to patients according to the physicians diagnoses. Performs as a member of the multidisciplinary care team. Screens newly admitted patients to identify those at nutritional risk. Supervises Nutritional Services Technicians and other support personnel. Exercises independent judgment under the general supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services. Participates in Peformance Improvement activities. Provides service to age range: infant to geriatric. Provide nutritional education to patients and families in an outpatient as well as inpatient setting. Will be a member of outpatient programs to provide nutrition education. Other duties as assigned.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science with major in dietetics from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed by the State of Texas.
- ADA registration or ADA registration eligible and must obtain registration within 6 months of employment.
- Prior experience in hospital clinical dietetics with administrative or supervisory experience preferred.
