Clinical Lab Scientist I - Lab-Microbiology

SUMMARY: Accountable for performing laboratory procedures using a variety of instruments and procedures. Performs laboratory analyses on blood and various body fluids to obtain data on which a diagnosis of health or disease can be made and appropriate therapy initiated. Areas of responsibility will include microbiology and molecular biology.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree consistent with the State of California CLS Licensure requirements. Valid California CLS - Clinical Lab Scientist, Clinical Microbiologist Scientist, or Public Health Microbiologist license required with MLS - Medical Laboratory Scientist - ASCP preferred. Minimum one year Clinical Microbiology or Public Health Microbiology lab experience required.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period, day shift rotating weekends.
