POSITION SUMMARY:
- Under the supervision of the Lab Director and Lab Manager, the Clinical Lab Scientist organizes and performs the daily activities of the area(s) to which he/she is assigned. Those areas include Chemistry, Blood Bank, Hematology, Serology, Urinalysis, Coagulation and Microbiology. Supervises the proper performance of all laboratory procedures and reporting of test results in the absence of the Director or Clinical Lab Scientist Lead.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/License/Certification:
- Must have a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
Experience/Skills:
- Must have a Bachelors degree in science related field and/or completion of a California approved one (1) training program
- Experience as a CLS is highly required.
