Clinical Lead / Manager / Supervisor
Job Description
$5,000 sign-on bonus available!!
As a Clinical Lead/Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with our clinical therapists and interns, as well as other Southwest Network employees, to ensure effective, efficient clinical practice and outcomes for children and adolescents. You will work in a community based team environment conducting day-to-day therapeutic and administrative functions, including tasks associated with clinical oversight of assessments, counseling and service plans.
Expertise in DSM-V-TR codes and descriptions, psychotropic medications, and crisis intervention is required. Must possess training in and knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques .Must be able to function as a member of a clinical treatment team in a managed care environment. Knowledge of community based behavioral health services preferred, including an understanding of community resources, eligibility and funding sources. Must have excellent problem solving and customer service skills. Requires knowledge of and experience with administrative operations, including processes and procedures, leadership, supervision, and employee development. Must be able to maintain good member and family relationships, identify priorities, and stay organized. Requires effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Must be able to follow direction, use sound judgment and manage time well. Must be able to work independently and under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS
Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements
- Masters degree in a field related or similar to behavioral health required; independent level licensure in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, and/or substance abuse counseling, or a licensed bachelor of social work degree, or a licensed independent substance abuse counseling or licensed associate substance abuse counseling designation.
- Must have completed the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners approved clinical supervisor training or be eligible to complete the training within 60 days of hire.
- Must possess training and knowledge in behavioral intervention techniques.
- Must maintain current CPR, First Aid and Therapeutic Options certifications.
- Must maintain a valid Arizona state fingerprint clearance card.
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona drivers license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Knowledge, Ability, and Skills
- Requires a thorough understanding of parenting dynamics and child development issues.
- Requires knowledge of trauma informed care principles, as well as evidence-based practices for working with children.
- Requires knowledge of the spectrum of mental illnesses, current DSM-5 and ICD-10 codes and descriptions, psychotropic medications and crisis intervention.
- Knowledge of community based behavioral health services preferred, as is a thorough knowledge of the Maricopa County behavioral health system.
- Must have a detailed understanding of community resources, eligibility and entitlement funding sources. Must be able to function as a member of a clinical treatment team in a managed care environment.
- Must display exemplary leadership skills..
- Requires effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to follow direction, use sound judgment, possess excellent management skills, and be able to identify priorities and stay organized.
- Ability to utilize multiple types of office equipment (i.e. phones, copier, fax, etc.)
- Ability to type 25 to 40 WPM is preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Must be able to utilize the internet and various web browsers
