Responsible for nursing care of patients twenty-four hours a day and is expected to periodically work other shifts or make evening and night visits to the unit on a quarterly basis.Insures appropriateness of patient care assignments based on nursing needs of the patient and the scope of practice of different levels of staff. Continuously assesses, measures, and improves department ?s performance and participates in interdisciplinary, interdepartmental performance improvement activities.Insures appropriateness of patient care assignments based on nursing needs of the patient and the scope of practice of different levels of staff.""Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors degree preferred."" RN licensure from State of Texas.EXPERIENCE""Prefer a minimum of three years satisfactory experience as a staff nurse. Management experience preferred.
