Job Description
The Clinical Research and Registry Advisor is responsible for overseeing the coordination and daily management of patient registries.

- Leads the registry team in setting goals, priorities, and assigned tasks.
- Interacts directly with physicians, their research, and/or office staff on all registry issues as their first point of contact.
- Plans and writes external publications related to the registry program including peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, national meeting abstracts, and posters.
- Develops registry newsletters, clinical monographs, enrollment reports, and other information for physicians and Coram internal employees on registry updates.
- Maintains working relationship with Registry Principal Investigator and Coram nursing branches.
- Assists in planning, organizing, and development of, and be active member in, Registry Scientific Review Committee.
- Maintains database of physicians in the registry.
- Drives subject recruitment efforts.
- Assumes full responsibility for quality and accuracy of data in the registry database.
- Screens and responds to physician requests for data from registry database.
- Performs quality assurance and validation audits to ensure quality control of the data management system.
- Maintains documentation on usage, training, operational definitions, and changes in procedures for the patient registry.
- Oversees and assists with training, mentoring, and development of new registry personnel.
- Attends and presents registry program scientific publications at conferences.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
* 3 years research experience
* Experience submitted projects for regulatory approval
* Submitting publications to peer reviewed journals
* Familiar with GCP, FDA, and HIPAA regulations
* Excellent verbal and medical writing skills
* Strong time management and attention to detail skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft business software.

Preferred Qualifications
* Medical writing for publication in peer reviewed publications and industry trade publications.
* Conducting research which includes writing protocols, working with institution review boards, and statistical analysis of research performed

Education
- Bachelor's degree required
-Advanced Degree - Phd or Masters preferred
