CNC Machinist - Night Shift

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: CNC Machinist - Night Shift
• Location: Southeast Houston
• Pay: Up to $20 per hour
• Hours: 3pm to midnight
• Duration: Temp-To-Hire
• Description of Duties: The CNC Machinist will manage computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment from setup to operation, producing parts and tools from different resources. The CNC Machinist will be tasked with monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products and leading test runs. Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling. Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production. Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company. Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results. Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality. Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs. Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part. Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations. Conduct regular CNC machine assessments.
• Requirements: Able to do basic set ups. Understand basic Fanuc controls. Capable of interpreting blue prints. Able to understand geometric signs and tolerances. Capable of reading and using measuring instruments. Knowledge of Algebra and math functions.
