This position is remote within the state of AZ only. This remote work opportunity requires residency, and work to be performed, within the State of Arizona.
This position will support the Commercial Verticals and Strategy leader in sales pipeline development activities, maintaining SalesForce, developing and maintaining effective relationships with business development organizations and participating in health fairs, industry conferences and conventions. The Commercial Verticals Coordinator will also support the sales team with open enrollment meetings and other client support services.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Work Experience- 2 year(s) of experience in customer service field
- High School Diploma or GED in general field of study
- An active, and unrestricted Arizona (a state in the US) Department of Insurance Health or Health and Life Insurance license within 12 months of employment.
- Valid Arizona driver license with acceptable driving record

ESSENTIAL job functions AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Call public sector prospects to obtain updated information on upcoming RFPs and update contacts for Account Based Marketing (ABM).
- Attend industry conferences and conventions to promote AZBlue and retain leads.
- Respond to e-mails, telephone calls, follow-up requests from internal and external stakeholders timely.
- Upon licensing, explain insurance coverage, including all aspects of claims, benefits and eligibility. Inquiries are documented using HRP. Refer adjustments to claims department as needed.
- Serve as trust liaison and account management lead between VSMG/Koblt, VSEBT, Arizona United Fire Fighters Trust and other public sector trust as directed by the Commercial Verticals leader.
- Attend Trust & BCBSAZ department meetings as necessary. Participate in open-enrollment meetings.
- Assist with onsite events for prospects and customers to include but not limited to flu shot clinics, or other health care related items as needed
- The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Required Job Skills
- Intermediate skill in use of office equipment including copier, fax machine, scanner and telephones
- Intermediate PC proficiency
- Intermediate skill in word processing, spreadsheet and database software

- Analytical knowledge necessary to generate reports based on available data and then make decisions based on reported data
