Compliance Document Specialist
Job Description
Under general supervision, the Compliance Document Specialist is responsible for providing a centralized monitoring and support program for institute critical and controlled documents including: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Institute plans and manuals, work instructions, study-related forms, policies, notebooks and other compliance documents throughout the Institute. Other responsibilities include providing content direction and determination, template development, revision system assistance and training, technical editing and tracking timeline requirements.
Requires a Bachelors degree and two years of technical writing and editing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained. Computer based document editing skills required.
Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team and the ability to learn department-specific computer systems as needed.
This position is located on Kirtland Air Force Base and will require a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and background check.
Preference will be given to applicants who have work experience in a GLP-regulated research facility. Experience with performance metrics is desired. Prior experience with computer-based document management and training systems desired.
Salary is commensurate upon experience.
