The Division of Health Care Management (DHCM) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Compliance Program Specialist. The Compliance Program Specialist is responsible for managing the Direct Care Worker training and testing online database and performing audits for Direct Care Worker training and testing programs that are not contracted with a Managed Care Organization to provide services. Additionally, the Compliance Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the Managed Care Organizations compliance with the Community Service Agency credentialing requirements.
* Auditing Direct Care Worker training and testing programs for compliance with AHCCCS policy
* Managing the Direct Care Worker training and testing Help Desk and technical assistance requests of users of the online testing records database
* Tracking and monitoring Community Service Agency credentialing compliance with AHCCCS policy by the Managed Care Organizations
* Providing administrative support directed at compliance activities for other team projects
* Providing technical assistance to Managed Care Organizations and prospective Community Service Agencies on compliance with AHCCCS policy on Community Service Agency credentialing
* Service delivery systems and the provision of attendant care and rehabilitation and support services for individuals with disabilities and/or behavioral health needs
* Basic auditing and compliance processes including establishing policy requirements, compliance standards, auditing records and tracking compliance milestones
* Arizona Management System or process improvement and standard work
* Planning and coordinating multiple tasks at a detailed level
* Documentation development and application including Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Access Databases.
* Clearly communicate verbally and in writing to a variety of people from different backgrounds
* Minimum of one year experience in the healthcare field
* Minimum of three years experience in audit, compliance or project management fields
* Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Management, Business or other related field
