Position Description
The Institutional Compliance Program Specialist manages comprehensive departmental documentation preparedness for demonstrating regulatory compliance effectiveness; ensures immediate availability of program integrity component documentation for government investigations; conducts assessments of the status of new and ongoing compliance and privacy program tasks and projects; produces and maintains cumulative compliance program activity records, analytical reports, and tracks and trends compliance and privacy program activities; manages compliance program issue logs and dashboards; produces and manages timelines to ensure issue closure and response deadlines are met; maintains compliance documents and records for the Institutional Compliance Committee.

- Produces and maintains cumulative compliance program activity records and produces analytical reports related to comprehensive compliance program activities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing projects associated with: Investigations Federal False Claims Act, HIPAA, Conflict of Interest, and Six Sigma.
- Experience performing independent investigations and documenting findings.
- Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and work independently to meet deadlines and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and with varying backgrounds both within and outside the organization.

- Manages comprehensive departmental documentation preparedness for demonstrating continuous regulatory compliance effectiveness; conducts assessments and gap analyses of compliance activities to support effectiveness indicators promulgated by government agencies; exercises independent judgment regarding the data.
- Identification of potential deficiencies in program effectiveness documentation.
- Investigates compliance issues and documents findings in a formal report.
- Participates in other projects as assigned and completes tasks within requested timeframes.
- Participates in periodic compliance and privacy program effectiveness evaluations.
- Tracks and trends compliance and privacy program activities; manages compliance and privacy program logs and departmental dashboards; produces and manages timelines to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Provides analysis of collected data to determine if a potential compliance issue exists.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university and
- two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related experience Compliance, Legal or Risk Management experience required.
- Compliance experience preferred.
