Overall Job Objective

What Success Looks Like In This Job

Acts as the primary point of contact for the scheduling and maintenance of event programs at all Adams County conference rooms including conference centers, suite conference rooms, and division meeting spaces at both the Human Services and Government Centers. Responsible for the scheduling, coordination of programs and events. Coordinates Conference Center set-ups to ensure meeting success, troubleshoots issues with A/V and IT equipment and computers, assists in the coordination of catering services as requested by conference center customers and provides a safe environment for employees and the public who are using the Conference Centers.

Qualifications for Success

  • Knowledge of and the ability to operate IT and A/V equipment
  • Knowledge of and the ability to set up a variety of meeting room configurations
  • Knowledge of Event Pro scheduling or similar scheduling software a plus
  • Knowledge of safe working practices
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of computer programs, including but not limited to, MS Office and JDEdwards.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
More Qualifications for Success

  • Experience: At least one (1) year of conference center scheduling experience or similar.
  • Education and Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • License or Certificate: Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Colorado Driver's License with no restrictions.
  • Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.

Physical Activities:
* Ability to sit, walk, talk, hear, stand, kneel, crouch, squat, stoop, crawl, twist, climb or balance, and
lift 50 pounds.
* Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feed; ability to reach with hands or arms.

Exposure to Elements:
* Social gatherings, cold, heat, noise, outdoors, dust.

Mental Abilities:
* Ability to compare; analyze, communicate, coordinate,
instruct, evaluate, have interpersonal skills, and compile.

Vision Demands:
* Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distant vision (clear vision at 20 feet or
more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision, and depth vision.
