Join the award winning East West Partners Development team in Snowmass, Colorado. We are looking for a Construction Manager with outstanding quality control and customer service skills.

As Construction Manager you will assist the Lead Construction Manager with numerous responsibilities both in the field and in the office, as outlined below. The overall goal of this position is to help facilitate completion of multiple residential and commercial construction projects on-time and on-budget with a high-quality finished product.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain positive and productive General Contractor (GC) and key Subcontractor relationships.
  • Daily site walks to assist GC partners in detecting deficiencies and controlling quality.
  • Review submittals and RFIs. Coordinate with Construction Manager for responses.
  • Review work in place daily for conformance with the contract documents as well as approved submittals.
  • Monthly review of contractor pay applications with Construction Manager to ensure billings reflect work completed.
  • Weekly generation and distribution of construction updates for EWP, financial partners, and community.
  • Attend various trade pre-installation meetings, as needed, for the completion of the work.
  • Liaise with local building officials, fire department, water and sanitation department, public works and other local agencies that are critical to construction.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with the Base Village Construction Management Plan and other local requirements to help ensure good community relations.
  • Attend and provide feedback at OAC meetings and other critical construction meetings.
  • Regularly track construction progress against the project schedule.
  • Assist in managing warranty and defect claims.
  • Assist in punch list process and back walks.
  • Management and oversight of misc. special projects.
  • Assist in the management of project close out, punch list process, and walks with the buyers.
  • Coordinate with and assist Owner Liaison to ensure buyer changes are successfully incorporated into the purchased units.
  • Coordinate buyer changes with design and construction team.
  • Coordinate resolution of buyer warranty issues.

Location: East West Partners- Snowmass Village, CO

Compensation: $90,000 / year - Eligible for annual bonus based upon performance

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in residential and commercial construction.
  • Experience working with architects and contractors.
  • Ability to review in-progress construction work to ensure outstanding quality control and to confirm compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Ability to hold contractors accountable for cost, schedule and quality, while maintaining positive relationships through a team-based approach.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Experience with high-net-worth clientele and ability to meet their expectations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail - both in the field and with paperwork.
  • Well-organized.
  • Solid working knowledge of primary MS Office applications and other common software.
  • Quick learner, flexible and adaptable. Comfortable on a dynamic team with shifting responsibilities.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
