GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Consumer Loan Assistant provides quality service to internal and external clients through effective and professional written and verbal communication. Resolves basic service issues by maintaining a working knowledge of basic bank products and services while referring more complex requests to appropriate colleagues or departments.. Serves as main point of contact for client problem resolution. Complies with policies, procedures, rules and regulations, and completes training requirements as warranted for the position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- General office experience
Preferred Certifications, Licenses or systems:
- Lending and Banking system experience
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Good customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic leanding and banking terminology
- General working knowledge of MS Office; intermediate level excel
- General knowledge of using office equipment such as scanner, printer and phone

We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work program which allows employees to work remotely two days a week. This position has flexibility in choosing which two days, in addition to Wednesday, will be worked in the Rockville, MD office.
