Job Description
As the head of the Aetna Content and Social Marketing team, you will lead a small, dedicated team and guide our our agency partners in developing a content strategy to grow and engage our audiences across all of Aetna's health insurance lines of business. These include commercial (B2B), specialty (B2B/B2C), and government (Medicare, Medicaid, Dual Eligible). In addition to a content strategy to support our businesses, you will manage the development of an overall Aetna brand content strategy. You will focus on developing content and driving results through the optimization and elevation of our brand through social media. In addition to content creation, you should demonstrate expertise with social media, earned and paid media strategies, holistic social reporting and can easily work to achieve results. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead creation, curation, and overall editorial process for healthcare content across all channels to support the Commercial, Specialty, and Government businesses and the Aetna brand overall
* Be the main contact across Aetna's lines of business on placement of content across channels, contributions to the Aetna content calendar and work with the Media team placement of paid media for those businesses.
* Lead planning and delivery of the monthly Aetna editorial calendar for content across the digital channels.
* Lead monthly brand, expertise and value story content editorial process and planning (promote input and brainstorm meetings, assign content, brief agency partners)
* Manage a team of contributors including writers, layout artists, photographers, graphic artists, and production coordinators to ensure delivery of thousands of pieces of branded content a year.
* Manage social media and editorial content measurement strategy including metrics, report templates, schedule, etc.
* Manage 3-5 full-time employees
* Develop and contribute social media content

Required Qualifications
* 10+ years of marketing experience in social and content strategy and development
* Experience with healthcare content, specifically health insurance is required
* Content / editorial marketing and demonstrated ability to develop and implant a content strategy
* Experience developing content marketing programs across an organization
* Experience with social media and editorial content measurement and reporting
* Experience with digital and social marketing industry trends, tactics, current events, and user behavior.
* Agency and budget management experience
* Manage virtual teams

* Experience managing budgets
* Experience with reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics, Brandwatch, and Sprinklr
* Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud or Social Studio
