Position Summary

The Facilities Department in the College of University Libraries needs a Facilities Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day operations of the library. The new Facilities Coordinator will assist with opening the library Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. while also assisting the Facilities in a new roll, assisting and relocating a large quantity of library materials to the new South Campus Repository along with the duties and responsibilities in this classification.

The skill set would be to assist with opening the library, consulting with the Facilities Manager on any building related issues, assist and direct construction personnel while also assisting the security guard. They will also help with shipping and receiving.

  • A valid New Mexico driver's license will be required if a motor vehicle must be operated on the job.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.

  • All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
