SUMMARY: This position is accountable for serving as a consultant in the care of peri-operative patients. The incumbent provides patient, family, and staff education; leadership in identifying and reviewing nursing clinical practice and procedures, equipment and processes that will enhance clinical operations and patient care outcomes. Serves as a patient and family advocate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) An Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure; C) a minimum of three years recent pediatric clinical experience, D) BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer into position, PALS within 12 months of hire or transfer into position and Certified Nurse of the Operating Room (CNOR) preferred. Bilingual skills desirable.

SHIFT DETAILS: Full time, 69 hours per pay period
