SUMMARY

The major goals of the Housing Coordinator is to assist individuals in obtaining housing options and make efforts to help establish their chosen housing goals. Must be knowledgeable in various resources needed to obtain and maintain quality affordable housing, including public benefits and assistance programs to achieve housing stability.


REQUIREMENT


  • Experience in apartment rentals with emphasis in affordable housing management and or

  • Bachelors degree or;

  • AA degree and four years of behavioral health/ housing support or benefits enrollment services to homeless, low and /or moderate income individuals /families work experience.

  • High School diploma and six years behavioral health/ housing support or benefits enrollment services to homeless, low and /or moderate income individuals /families work experience.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Preference in the use of Housing Quality Standards.
