Job Description
The consultant position will report into the Corporate Events Center of Excellence which supports the entire CVS Health organization. Our mission is to create and execute innovative brand experiences for our business partners and customers that foster growth, retention and reflect our corporate goals and objectives.

Job Description
* Plan, implement and manage components of both in-person and virtual meetings, tradeshows, events, and sponsorships that support internal business partner goals and objectives
* Create, plan, and execute project plans, timelines, budgets and executional components within desired meeting, tradeshow, sponsorship as assigned
* Partner with internal teams to establish appropriate event strategies; clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates on a regular basis
* Work with external vendors to identify cost-effective options for event activations that meet the business requirements
* Prepare and manage budgets for all shows and events, manage and track all events through companys software management system
* Meet regularly with internal business partners to ensure business goals and objectives are met

Fundamental Components
* Supports all logistics for agreed upon events from start to finish, including pre-event planning, collaboration across multiple teams, project management, onsite event support, registration management and other duties
* Project manage multiple, complex timetables successfully in a collaborative extremely fast paced environment
* Partners with external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with cross-functional internal teams; creative services, marketing ops, which support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs
* Research and report creative event options, off-site venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget
* Develop and maintain event budgets ensuring expenses are in-line with approved budgets
* Ensures compliance policy and procedures are followed, completes all required approvals and processes

Travel required - In a post-Covid environment this position will require approximately 20% travel including weekends. Must be able to able to carry and lift heavy objects up to 35 lbs. Must have a valid drivers license to rent cars.

Required Qualifications
* 1 or more years of event and/or marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications
* Strong project management skills and excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills
* Proficient in a variety of applications including Excel, Word, and PPT - CVent experience a plus

Education
Bachelors Degree required; Preferably in marketing or related field
