Job Title: Corporate Trainer

Job Summary: As a Corporate Trainer you will primarily focus on the client service department, where you will facilitate training sessions, develop engaging curriculum, and conduct evaluations. The client services team specializes in providing support for merchants and ISOs in Merchant Services. You will work with business stakeholders to determine training needs, develop curricula/training material, and deliver training in an engaging and effective manner. Training will be provided in a variety of ways, including in-person, remote and self-paced, module-based training for new and existing Priority employees. This hybrid position will require a local candidate to be at the Priority headquarter office of Alpharetta, a minimum 2-3 days per week and every day during a new hire training class.

Responsibilities:

40% Facilitation:

  • Deliver engaging and impactful training sessions, using a variety of training methods, including classroom, virtual, and blended learning approaches.
  • Create an inclusive and participatory learning environment that encourages active participation and knowledge retention.
  • Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet the specific needs of the learners/department and the evolving demands of the merchant services industry.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and adjust facilitation techniques accordingly.


40% Curriculum Development:

  • Collaborate with SMEs (subject matter experts), client service leaders, and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop comprehensive curriculum plans.
  • Design and create engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and interactive activities, that align with the learning objectives.
  • Incorporate industry best practices, fintech-specific knowledge, and emerging trends into training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Regularly update and enhance the curriculum based on feedback, evaluation results, and changes in the merchant services landscape.
  • Collaborate with the instructional design team in developing and reviewing course materials.
  • Keep up to date on adult learning principles, modern learning tools, and learning technology trends.


20% Evaluation:

  • Develop evaluation frameworks and methodologies to measure the effectiveness and impact of training programs on client service performance.
  • Conduct assessments, surveys, and other evaluation methods to gather data on training outcomes, knowledge retention, and skill development.
  • Analyze evaluation results, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for enhancing the training curriculum and delivery methods.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track and report on the progress and success of the client service team's training initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; Minimum 3 years of training experience required.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to learn and quickly adapt to new technology and processes.
  • Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current learning & development techniques, practices, trends, and technology.
  • Experience in curriculum development, and adult learning principles, ensuring the creation of impactful and learner-centric training materials.
  • Proficiency in evaluating training programs, utilizing various evaluation techniques and methodologies to measure training effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing business needs.
  • Must be fluent with the Google Suite, LMSs, and Apple products & software.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Payments industry knowledge and experience.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning management systems, and virtual training tools is preferred. ATD or any other training certification.
  • Proven experience as a Corporate Trainer or similar role, with a focus on client service training, preferably within the fintech or merchant services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of client service principles, practices, and industry standards, with an understanding of Merchant Services-specific requirements.

? Compensation range: $70k-$87k
