Job Summary:

Responsible for counting all the contents of table games, card games and currency acceptor drop boxes and recording counts and transaction amounts on appropriate form and entering amounts into computer terminal.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Sorts and counts contents of table games and card games and currency acceptor drop boxes
  • Verifies counts.
  • Follows procedure to perform the slot, kiosk, and blind drop in compliance with the Internal Control Standards and the Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
  • Operates high speed currency counting equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to work in a fast paced team environment.
  • One year cash handling experience.
  • Basic mechanical ability skills a plus.
  • Ability to calculate and apply basic math concepts.
  • Must have experience in Excel, Word, and Windows.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.
  • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the companys choice, through a payroll deduction program.
  • All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
