We are seeking a motivated individual to be a part of our Crisis Evaluator Team as the Team Lead. You must be willing to work overnights if needed. You & your team respond to crisis calls and complete comprehensive assessments of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances, substance abuse issues, or the inability to function or maintain in the community.

This is a full-time position working onsite at our Walk In Crisis Center located at 6509 S Santa Fe Dr., Littleton, CO 80120. This role does not require you to go out into the community, you will only conduct evaluations on site and then provide clinical leadership to 9 Crisis Evaluators.

Goals and Objectives:

Provide a consistent, on-site (where possible) leadership presence for teams.
Foster staff development and competency through supervision, coaching, trainings, and team meetings.
Monitor documentation and oversee clinical care delivery to ensure regulatory standards and/or contractual requirements are met.
Enhance professional growth and development through participation in specialized training.

Conduct face-to-face assessments for clients experiencing a crisis and develop comprehensive treatment plans based on client need. These assessments can take place in a variety of locations, including but not limited to: client homes, community (school, group homes, skilled nursing facilities, police stations, jails, juvenile detention facilities, courts of law, etc.), and at AllHealth Network facilities.
Make clinically appropriate dispositions to the safest, least restrictive environment
Provide clinically appropriate crisis intervention services to clients in need

Duties and Responsibilities:

In conjunction with Clinical Managers, oversee the administrative supervision of the team to ensure performance standards and staffing needs are met.
Complete the ongoing monthly staff schedule and ensure proper staff coverage.
Provide support to team members including assistance with crisis situations and other urgent matters.
Work collaboratively with Management team to understand department objectives, strategies and vision in order to maximize staff efficiencies and operations.
Provide mental health crisis evaluation and safety planning/crisis intervention services for clients experiencing a crisis. Evaluations may take place at AllHealth Network locations or in the community (hospitals, emergency rooms, police stations, jails, juvenile detention facilities, courts of law, homes schools, departments of human services, etc.)
Ensure all clinical documentation meets internal EHR requirements as well as regulatory requirements in a comprehensive, timely manner.
Complete screening and assessments for voluntary and emergency holds; when necessary, establish 27-65 mental health holds for clients requiring involuntary commitment
Perform professional interpretation and analysis of clinical data and assessments to formulate a service plan, a comprehensive summary of care, treatment and diagnosis, and involving the family and/or other caretakers in all aspects of client care, as appropriate
Navigate the treatment needs of the client and make referrals to internal and external resources including coordination of higher level of care needs, as appropriate
Communicate professionally and effectively with clients fund source regarding clinical recommendations and requests for authorization for levels of care requiring pre-authorization
Review documentation for referrals to the Acute Treatment Unit and determine clinical appropriateness for admission
Work with the Crisis Response Team and other treatment teams to track bed availability and efficiency of admissions
Provide cross-coverage and backup for Phone Crisis Counselors as needed
Provide crisis counseling to aid in crisis de-escalation
Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures
Complete all required trainings as listed in Relias Learning (both online training and face-to-face training) within required timelines
Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.

****** Provide shift coverage flexibility to crisis response team to ensure all open shifts are covered for Crisis Evaluators. Coverage will be attempted first through PRNs and Staff Overtime. Expectation is that flexibility in filling shifts will meet some of the needs of the open shifts and not all of the open shifts. This will be temporary during staffing shortages, or operational emergencies deemed necessary by the Crisis Diversion Manager.

Hourly position that pays:

$33 - 36 an Hour, anytime you work between 5PM & 7AM you will be given an additional $2 per hour

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks total compensation package for employees.
