TITLE: Crossing Guard/Substitute Crossing Guard

SALARY: Classified Schedule - Level 1

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Actively mobile
2. Good eyesight and hearing
3. Able to work well with students

REPORTS TO: Transportation Director

JOB GOAL: Maintain a safe and orderly passing of students using cross walks

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Stop traffic to allow students to use crosswalk

2. Set up and take down all crosswalk signs (Middle School Only)

3. Supervise crossings at times designated by individual supervisors

4. Be punctual without fail

5. The District reserves the right to amend this job description as necessary.

EVALUATION: Twice a year by the Director of Transportation
