CT / Radiologic Technologist - Per diem / on call

Per diem/on call; schedule varies as needed.

Job Summary:

Performs CAT scans, radiographic procedures at a technical level, including a variety of technical procedures which require independent judgment for CAT scanning diagnosis. Under the general supervision of the Radiology Department Manager provides radiologic care including computerized tomography to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, assists physician as required and does related work as assigned. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT Scanner and performs record keeping activities.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Completion of formal radiologic technology training at an AMA-sponsored school.

Requires a minimum of one year as a registered technologist performing either CT Scan or special procedures.

Requires approximately one year of on-the job training to become proficient with duties and responsibilities.

Prefer bilingual or multilingual skills.
