POSITION SUMMARY:

Promotes quality patient care through the performance of diagnostic and invasive CT scan procedures utilizes appropriate technique, established protocols, physician direction, and age specific guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of contrast agents, CT scanners, injector systems, supplies, radiation safety and quality assurance guidelines and applies such knowledge in day-to-day performance of duties

  1. Education: Graduate from an approved/accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
  2. Certification : ARRT ( R) (CT)
  3. Required Licensed: Texas Medical Board Medical Radiologic Technologist
  4. Technical, clerical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills relevant to patient care/area.
  5. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
  6. Other certification requirements as defined by the certification policy.
  7. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
