POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Imaging Supervisor and Imaging Supervisor of the additional modality, the CT Technologist position is responsible for a variety of routine diagnostic computed tomography (CT) procedures to include common and special CT exams and diagnostic X-ray functions of moderate complexity with progression towards exams of higher complexity.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  2. Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT), required
  3. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
  4. Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required
  5. Previous healthcare or hospital experience preferred
  6. Must meet the ACR and/or at least TDSHS criteria for the additional modality with approval from the Imaging Medical Director
