Responsibilities as Custodial Crew Lead:

Perform various tasks including vacuuming, trash removal, sweeping/mopping floors, dusting, restroom cleaning, carpet cleaning, hard floor maintenance, window cleaning, event set ups, tear downs, and special clean ups as per contract requirements.
Supervise other personnel in contract work.
Prompt/train consumers to perform contract duties and associated administrative paperwork.
Lead and maintain standard work pace for cleaning quality and quantity.
Make necessary changes to assist supervisor and facilitate customer needs.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years custodial-work experience preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate in English with internal and external customers of Adelante.
Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures.
Capability to give and receive instructions in both written and verbal forms.
Proficiency in presenting information and responding to questions from the public, clients, supervisors, and co-workers.

Other Requirements:

Must pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
Must possess a valid NM Driver's License and proof of auto liability insurance.
Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record.
Strong attention to detail and quality required.
Must be able to remain on feet for approximately 90% of the workday.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs frequently.
Must be able to operate equipment (vacuums, buffers, extractors, etc.) continuously for several hours at a time.
Must be able to climb ladders for cleaning purposes.
