$1,250 Hiring Bonus

General Description of Duties:

• Perform vacuuming, trash removal, sweeping/mopping floors, and dusting.
• Clean restrooms, including sanitization and restocking.
• Conduct carpet cleaning and hard floor maintenance.
• Maintain general grounds and window cleaning.
• Perform striping, waxing, buffing, and dust mopping of floors.
• Assist in the maintenance of floor care equipment.
• Clean buildings, including offices, hallways, meeting rooms, and classrooms.
• Deliver supplies and materials as needed.
• Remove trash from buildings.
• Secure buildings as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the contract.

Education and Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Floor care experience required.
• Two years custodial work experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English with internal and external customers of Adelante.
• Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures.
• Ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors, and co-workers.

Other Requirements: Must background check and drug and TB screen. Must have reliable transportation, a valid NM drivers license, and an Agency insurable driving record. Must have strong attention to detail and quality, and the ability to apply them. Must be able to remain on feet for approximately 90% of the workday. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently. Must be able to operate equipment (vacuums, buffers, extractors, etc.), continuously for several hours at a time, and be able to climb ladders for cleaning purposes. Job Type: Full-Time: Sunday through Thursday 6:00am to 3:00pm - 1 hour lunch.

Pay From: $17.20 per hour.
