Position Summary |
The UNM-Taos Facilities Management Department invites applicants for two full-time (term) benefit eligible Custodian positions to assist in maintaining our facilities. UNM-Taos is an on-growing educational institution serving Taos County and surrounding areas in Northern New Mexico, preparing students for a successful professional life. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for the successful candidates to be detail oriented and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises. The custodians will provide or assist with a diverse range of routine campus services for the UNM Branch campus, to include such duties as site security, basic light equipment operation and maintenance, custodial services, routine grounds maintenance and snow removal, logistical assistance, and/or other related duties in accordance with day-to-day requirements of the Branch. The ideal candidate should: Be experienced in the cleaning process and focused on building upkeep. Have great physical endurance to cover large areas Have a valid drivers license Have a keen eye for detail and diligence Have a positive attitude Be a good team player
This job requires some nights, weekends and scheduled shifts. Schedules will vary and will be scheduled based on department need. Valid Drivers License needed. Travel to and between Klauer Campus, Civic Plaza Complex and using institutional vehicles may be required.

Minimum Qualifications |
Less than high school; no previous experience required. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
