Laboratory Section Head responsible for Cytology performs personnel management, procedure development and quality assurance, ensures regulatory compliance and participates in hospital committees.
Responsible for scheduling, hiring, employee relations and training/development of lab staff. Devleops laboratory procedures as well as implements and maintains quality control plans. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies. Will represent the laboratory in various meetings and committees. |
Must possess technical and working knowledge of all Cytology processes. Assist staff with training and education. |
Bachelor Degree - CT (ASCP)
Minimum 5 years technical experience, 2 years Supervisory experience highly preferred
CT (ASCP) or equivalent
