Job Description
We are currently seeking a Data Engineer at our corporate offices located in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, your primary responsibility is building and maintaining the ETL pipelines for a mission critical migration to a new enterprise system. You will work in a team environment with other engineers, business analysts and a product owner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain ETL processes for DWH
Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly with minimal support and guidance
Effective communicator, positive attitude, a dedicated team player
Collaborates with other BI engineers and managers, technical leads, and other departments to ensure successful delivery of BI projects
Skills/Experience:
Strong T-SQL programming
Microsoft BI tools a plus (SSIS, SSAS)
Query performance optimization
Experience with Kimball modeling is a plus
Azure Experience is a plus
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Effective communicator, positive attitude, a dedicated team player
