Do you want to make a large impact in your next role?! The Pharmaceutical Data Strategy team drives incremental innovation and value through CVS enterprise data assets. Within the team, the Data Product Innovation Director will develop strategy around data to provide value to both CVS and its pharmaceutical manufacturer customers.

Here, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to size and prioritize data, understand where data science is heading, provide a roadmap for CVS to stay ahead of the curve, and develop and socialize data standard methodologies to ensure leaders are utilizing data to its utmost potential.

This is an individual contributor, director-level role. To drive value from data, the Executive Advisor will foster innovative ideas, develop and present business proposals, and aid in the launch of new initiatives. You will also provide thought leadership to the enterprise, including whitepapers/executive overviews on relevant topics. In addition, the Executive Advisor will support identifying and supporting rollout for new function releases for data products to increase their value over time.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive strategy to capture incremental value with data: Develop a strategic and innovative approach to data, as it intersects between the various partners and manufacturer customers on behalf of the Trade BU. Meet growth targets by harnessing current trends and getting ahead of them with innovative product offerings. Design, commercialize and operationalize innovative products.

- Develop business cases for newly identified growth initiatives / new ventures, backed by strong data and clearly articulated assumptions. Assist Pharma Data Strategy Senior Director with analyzing the portfolio and prioritizing among growth opportunities

- Foster and launch innovative ideas: Provide flawless execution of new and ongoing growth strategy projects and initiatives. Partner with product owner to ensure iterative improvement and innovation on data products.

- Relationship development: Engage cross-functionally across the organization to design innovative solutions while developing value for members, clients and the enterprise. Understand the needs of all stakeholders, including internal and manufacturer partners, to develop and support growth initiatives. Influence without authority.

To be successful, you will utilize your experience dissecting complex analytics and drawing meaningful insights, your experience exercising independent judgment while developing analyses and presentations to successfully implement strategy or change initiatives, as well as your ability to generate new insights and build business cases to bring them to market. Your problem solving ability and executive-level oral and written communication will also be key to your success.

Required Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in a product management or product innovation/strategy role, or 5 years working in/with the pharma, PBM or healthcare focused data analytics industry.
- Advanced MS Office experience (spreadsheets, databases, presentation software)

Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in PBM, Pharma, market access, account management or specialty pharmacy preferred.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred
- Management consulting experience preferred

Education
Bachelors Degree required
