Job Description

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks a junior to mid-level data security associate attorney to join its Privacy and Security Practice. We are open to applicants in the markets above. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of law firm experience, preferably at an AmLaw 200 law firm. Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical and writing skills are required. Prior experience with data security law is required. Demonstrated ability in leadership, crisis management, and prior industry experience are a plus.

The lawyer filling this position will: (i) participate in internal investigations, (ii) draft security policies and procedures, (iii) conduct research on novel legal questions, (iv) assist in merger and acquisition due diligence, (v) draft responses to regulatory inquiries, and (vi) help clients prepare for and respond to security incidents.
